Upcoming events of the Cotton Expert House Africa
Save the date: 3rd Pan-African Cotton Conference from 26 to 28 September 2019 in Abuja, Nigeria
The Cotton Expert House Africa (CHA) in partnership with ArewaCotton and the Central Bank of Nigeria is delighted to announce that the 3rd Pan-African Cotton Conference will be taking place from 26 to 28 September 2019 in Abuja, Nigeria. The overriding topic of this year’s conference will be “cotton seed”.
The conference will take place on two days and will be concluded by a joint study tour on the 3rd day. Detailed information on theme, programme and venue will be shared with you later on this website.
Building on the success and spirit of the 1st Pan-African Conference in Cotonou, Benin in November 2017 and the 2nd Pan-African Conference in Kampala, Uganda in November 2018, the conference offers an opportunity for stakeholders in the African cotton sector to network, share information and exchange experience in the area of sustainable cotton production by means of expertise presentations, panel discussions and group work sessions.
Moreover, the team of CHA is delighted about the prospect of building new relationships and consolidating relationships already established as well as of exploring possible areas of future cooperation with participants.
Having welcomed 155 participants during last year’s conference, we would be very pleased about your numerous appearance at this year’s conference and look forward to initiate and resume insightful conversations and debates with you.
Information on how to register for the conference will be announced here soon.
